We made the chalks together on the balcony. Mixing was enjoyable, just keep some newspaper underneath.

Got this for a school break. Using the chalk for drawings later caught my daughter's eye straightaway. An adult may need to help with the mixing, so some adult help is useful.

My son likes figuring things out himself, and the dino shapes was the part he kept talking about. I would have liked more moulding material for a second round, though overall the concept is good.

A good excuse to put the phones away for a while. We enjoyed the Jurassic theme and talking through the steps at our own pace.

My kid was most interested in painting the finished chalks. It gave us something to talk about besides cartoons, and the hands-on part was a big plus.
