The Kores Madhubani Art Kit is a thoughtfully curated DIY experience inspired by one of India’s most celebrated folk art traditions. Originating from the Madhubani district of Bihar, this art form is known for its expressive motifs, symmetry, and strong outlines.
With this kit, young artists paint beautifully illustrated MDF boards using vibrant acrylic colours and sketch pens, transforming them into decorative coasters and wall hangings. The finished artworks can be displayed using wooden stands, turning creativity into functional décor.
Designed for ages 8 to 18, the Madhubani Art Kit blends cultural learning with hands-on creativity, making it ideal for art-loving kids, school projects, and meaningful gifting.

We wanted an easygoing activity at home rather than another movie night. The mix of art and culture worked well for that. The outlines can be quite intricate, but that was manageable.
Picked it as a screen-free activity for the kids. Making a wall hanging makes it feel more interesting than an ordinary worksheet. Would be nice to have more projects like this.
My kid was most interested in the Bihar folk-art patterns. It gave us something to talk about besides cartoons, and the hands-on part was a big plus.
A good excuse to put the phones away for a while. We enjoyed the sketch-pen detailing and talking through the steps at our own pace.
After a long week, doing the Madhubani borders at home felt like a refreshing change. Allow time between paint and pen work, so I would not rush the activity.
